Emergencies include:
Water leaks (frozen pipes, broken water lines)
Gas leaks (Contact Duke)
No heat
No electricity
Locked out of an apartment (fees may apply)
Broken window or door locks
Other security problems
Fire, wind, or storm damage
Sewer backups
No water in the entire unit
